Getting started
Finding Information
The best way to find information in a Wiki is to use the search functionality, and not to depend upon HTML page links. The search box is located on the left of each page. For technical details on search semantics check out the search facilities help page on Wikipedia. Other methods for finding information is to utilize the navigation links: Recent changes, Random page and Special pages.
Contributing Content
Anyone can edit pages by using the "Edit" link at the top of the page he or she wishes to modify. For information on editing follow this link. Don't worry too much about perfection, as the original text is backed up and can be easily restored (everyone can see the RecentChanges made, and will be able to correct mistakes, make changes, and erase spam if necessary). You can also make comments on a page, and set a watch to track when a change is made to a page.
When two users are editing the same page at the same time, the latest saved page will become the current page. For this reason, performing multiple small edits may be preferred to edits that require more time.
Creating New Content
Before you create a new page, Wiki culture requires that you first check to see if a similar page already exists. This can be done by searching or by looking at [Special:Allpages | All pages by title]. If a page exists that contains material related to the content you wish to add you should consider refactoring the existing Wiki page. If existing content does not cover the material you wish to add, then follow the Wiki Adding a new page options and guidelines.
